I don't know, I actually like trains I rode Amtrak from Port Huron to Seattle, and before that I had ridden trains around southern Germany.

I've been on a subway before...once when I was in DC. We almost got lost.

I vaguely recall taking the subway before to go to Chinatown with my cousins about 10 years ago, but otherwise I've never been on a train and never used the city bus.

I'm also against roller-coasters and the like, which is why I haven't been to amusement parks in the last 5 years, and even before then never rode one.

I am also part of the no-train club. Not really a point, from what I hear.

Never been on train before. There's no subway where I live (try building one under sea level) and the local trains are used only for transporting material to the local factories.

I don't think I've been on a subway before, but I've certainly been on my fair share of trains.

They're, uh, not the most exiting means of travel after the first hour or two.

Better than 12 hour flights with an obese sweaty guy in the seat infront of you. (thank god he was nice enough to buy 2 seats for himself.)

I would like to go on a train at least once just to say that I've done it.

I am done with my train ride.

It was kind of worse than past rides I've done on that route, since there was no power so my laptop didn't last long... still had the iPod and the Kindle, though, so it wasn't bad. (And as I said, I like trains. And more importantly, hate flying... )

It's not just security with me- I get paranoid about checked bags (despite the fact that I've never actually had a bag lost), get stressed out over time, I'm fairly tall so I get cramped in the seats... the train is just overall a much more comfortable experience.

Oh yeah, light rail is fun, especially when hobos get on and poke you while coughing and hacking.

Also the crazies and gangsters on busses are delightful companions that add spice to every ride to school.

:p

I went to Alexandria yesterday and I saw the St. Patrick's Day Parade (they had it early, apparently) ... Today I'm getting Pokemon Black!

I remember once riding a bus at like 1 in the morning after my flight arrived really late. This guy asked me if I had a cell phone in this really slow and creepy-sounding voice. Apparently, he had stayed on the bus too long, but he refused to get off and catch one going the other way as the driver had suggested.

As for planes, I don't like airport security and I'm not too fond of being packed in the plane like sardines either When I fly, I try to get an aisle seat so I can at least easily use the restroom.

I flew commercial about half a year back and it was fine.

I've taken planes, trains, and automobiles. Aside from one crazy incident on the bus, I've never really had a bad trip.
