I think it's funny seeing what suggestions spell checkers give. Here, I tried the names of some board members using OpenOffice.org's UK English dictionary.

Kernal: Vernal, Kern al, Kernel
Katelyn: Stately, Animately, Philately, Radiately, Literately
Acmlm: Acme, ACM, Almanac
Xkeeper: Keeper, X keeper
Anya: Anna, Tanya, Any, Any a
Rydain: Ordain, Dainty, Dairying, Disdain, Everyday
NightKev: (nothing)
Imajin: Imagine, Imagen, Imaginary, Thingamajig, Minima
Sonicandfails: Multiplicands, Personification, Ultrasonics, Dominicans, Multiplicand
Tarale: Tara le, Tamale, Tar ale

I love how it put those so far apart and didn't even think of "Sonic and fails".

I think the CamelCase confuses the spell checker as it's case-sensitive.

I thought "Katelyn" would have come up with "Kaitlyn" or "Kaitlin", actually...

Yeah, a lot of these are funny xd

This was inspired from a Firefox spell checker giving "motherfucking" for "Buckinghamshire". Now imagine that in an address.

Kattwah, are you sure you didn't add your name to the dictionary? I always have to add my rather unusual last name to dictionaries...

Uh, it was OpenOffice.org, not Microsoft Office. If anyone wants to try it in Microsoft Office, or try some other names, go ahead.

MSWord 2003 gives "Nightcap" and "Knighted" for your name, for what it's worth.

I used Dictionary.com, and obtained this:
Dictionary suggestions:
The great
The great one
The creator
The creature
The grange
Great go
Great auk
Theocratic
Theoretic

Apparently it thinks I'm God. Or a theory. As a side note, I recently downloaded eclipse Europa(Java IDE) And it has a spellcheck feature. I'm sorry, but what possible use would an IDE have for a spellchecker? It highlights everything weird in the syntax, all the abbreviations in names and such, it's completely useless! Thankfuly it can be turned off, but still, what?

One particularly humorous one I've seen was entering "cataorgies" into Microsoft Word. It offers the correction "cat orgies", rather than "catagories".
