So... it was announced today for the DS. Looks to be mainly just a port of the SNES version, but... Given how much they've been ignoring the original (barring Kirby's Adventure GCN which was, umm... cancelled), it's still pretty awesome.

Oh, and the graphics were improved, and there's CG cutscenes.

No telling what else will be in it yet.


Regardless of all this, Kirby Super Star was my (and undoubtedly others') favorite Kirby game, so I'm pretty excited.

Kirby Super Star was my favorite as well, and I'm definitely glad this remake is in progress. It should turn out great, although I hope they add another 'game' to this one.

Well, this looks interesting. Though I would not mind another Kirby game like Crystal Shards, with 2 player co-op and slightly harder.. But that might just be me.

The only things that seem new to me are the options and cutscene thing at the bottom right... Otherwise, I see 6 main games, 3 sub games, same as the SNES version.

Oh, and the bit of Japanese with an arrow below it, which I really doubt is anything in particular.
