The banners keep changing so much that after a while, it loses its flair/less people care about the change. At least thats the way I see it.

Most of the prior ones were a theme (All Tetris Plus 2 ending cutscenes), whereas this one's just... different, I guess.

It's a kind of fanfare for Ikachan finally leaving, and I wanted to do something special and different, since Ikachan's been part of the board for a good few months. It feels weird not seeing him hovering over something...

I never had to deal with Ikachan because I still use IE7.

But he did annoy me in IRC cause I can only get there through Firefox.
