Just a note
I'm not in a good mood about the map on the server right now
gotten pretty ticked about it
best plan: don't join again until a new map is started

(info I went to the extent of dropping my inventory and damaging myself to 0.5 I was serious)

So, I checked out Notch's blog, and it seems that he'll possibly be adding pet dogs into the game at some point.

Perhaps if we're lucky, we'll be able to put this behavior into other mobs. A pet Creeper? Sure!

I run into those a lot. Many times with another cave cutting out the bottom too so it looks like a stream went through once.

I've run into a few chambers shaped like that. In addition, one time a portal I made into the nether generated in a chamber shaped like that!

Also, what texture pack is that?

I'm still having that weird-ass lag I was talking abotu in #minecraft last night.

For those who weren't there, everything I do in Minecraft SMP has a 5-30 second delay. All other internet functions work, and Minecraft SP is fine.

It's rather bizarre, to say the least. And I have no idea what could be doing this.

I've been having a hell of a lot of fun "labyrinthing" on Minecraft. I don't know who else has been doing it, but I haven't really been mining in the caves, I've mostly just been exploring them until their natural ends and only mining any ores I come across.

Once in a while though, I'll just do my little staircase descent to see if I can find any really deep underground ones.

Sometime, if it's not too much trouble, we ought to just have a temporary map for the day where, if anyone's interested, we just go around and do that if anyone else is interested. It's not so much like having a permanent map, it's just like... "Hey guys! Let's go EXPLORE today! "

I don't think so, but if you want, I can send you the sort-of-library I've made in java for my generator...

So, I'm looking for a laid back server and here I am, coming across this thread. I guess I'll ask for a whitelist exception, since I can't even find a working server these days that isn't filled with griefers, lava towers and craters through bedrock. I left my old one because half of my items vanished as well as people pretty much destroying others' work.
