Opeth - Death Whispered A Lullaby

Although most of Opeth's music typically falls under the label of progressive death metal, their album "Damnation" from which this song is from is entirely progressive rock/acoustic with very few elements of metal. Great music from a very talented band!

Someone linked to Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver OST - "Routes 11, 12, 13", so I'm listening to that.

It really does invoke nostalgia in me.

And it also reminds me that I haven't played HG/SS yet, but I really need to.

VVVVVV has a fantastic soundtrack, and that is easily my favorite song from the whole game.

Also still listening to different songs off of Loveless by My Bloody Valentine a lot. Tons of layered textured guitars, hazy sleepy vocals, weird effects and noises that I can't quite figure out what they are--this is the only shoegaze album I've heard so far, and I'm a bit worried that no album in that genre I hear after this will sound quite as good. It's probably already one of my favorite albums ever.
