I've decided to do some milestone stuff every 1,500 - 2,500 posts. Much more infrequent and it allows me some flexibility.

The only milestone I posted a thread for here was 2,000... (Though I did note my 1,000th post, it was in the Jul Pub thread) Really 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 have always seemed like the most important post milestones to me for some reason.

I've done that a few times (1337, 11111, 12345...). Usually I don't mention the post count, so probably most people don't get that it's sort of a stealthy milestone thread. I tend to give the non-1000 ones some additional topic.
