One thing I hate about sitting in the front of the classroom is that teachers practically shout while lecturing. I would move but I can't see because my eyes are broken. So I suffer in silence.

Hm, well I hate being right at the front because it feels like I'm being looked at by the teacher/instructor a lot, and that makes me uncomfortable.

As for gaming, I would rather be closer to the back, at least then I can see the screen (or projection) better.

And busses, I would rather be near the front or the middle because I'm closer to the exits for when I get off.

I always park myself right up in the front if I can because it helps me concentrate better and I have a far better chance of hearing what the instructor said.

For some reason I just have shitty hearing but I can't figure out why.

In classes where I'm not expected to actually participate much (like lecture-type things) I prefer to sit near the front for the whole hearing thing... but as I'm kind of a shy person, I end up sitting near the back and hiding if it's a class where I might be expected to actually say something. Oh well...

I go right up front because I look clean through the teachers eyes into their soul. Now you tell me who feels unconfortable!

TBH I don't care where I sit. I usually gravitate towards friends, but that's it.

Typically, if I'm actually interested in paying attention I go more toward the front, if I plan to goof off all hour I go to the back

Arbitrary teacher-assigned seating charts are evil. It's fine if we have to sit in the same place every day, but let us choose that place, please

I always sit at the front, pretty much never goof off. It's against my creed to do so. School is serious business to me.

I usuallydon't like being at the front because I always feel like everyone is looking at me, not just the teacher but everyone behind me as well. I normally try sit at the exact half way point between the front and back of the room, I find that I can hear and concentrate best there.

I sit front and center in almost every class. If it's a big lecture hall, I tend to sit a few rows back but along the aisle. I usually sit in the same seat, too. And since I am usually one of the first to get there, I almost always get my seat.

I sit all around the classroom in each of my different classes. Some classes I sit away from the front of the room, while in others, I'm sitting at the front of the room.

I don't really care where I sit since I am just as productive in one side of the room as I am at the other side of the room, though I prefer to sit in the front as I would be able to listen to the teacher more closely than if I was away from the teacher.

I sit in the front row or the the next row back, so I can absorb the maximum knowledge for my dollar.

For Physics and Chemistry, I sit at the front. For Biology and Ethics, I sit at the back. It's all based on where my friends are.

Doesn't it bother you when someone is sitting in your seat? I can't stand it. It feels like they are infringing on my personal space...

If someone takes my usual seat, I just go off and try to find a different place to sit

If someone takes my seat, I stand there looking uncomfortable for a second, then pick a random seat.

I usually sit in the back. I really never have an issue of someone taking my seat.
