One thing I hate about sitting in the front of the classroom is that teachers practically shout while lecturing. I would move but I can't see because my eyes are broken. So I suffer in silence.
I always park myself right up in the front if I can because it helps me concentrate better and I have a far better chance of hearing what the instructor said.
For some reason I just have shitty hearing but I can't figure out why.
In classes where I'm not expected to actually participate much (like lecture-type things) I prefer to sit near the front for the whole hearing thing... but as I'm kind of a shy person, I end up sitting near the back and hiding if it's a class where I might be expected to actually say something. Oh well...
I usuallydon't like being at the front because I always feel like everyone is looking at me, not just the teacher but everyone behind me as well. I normally try sit at the exact half way point between the front and back of the room, I find that I can hear and concentrate best there.
I sit front and center in almost every class. If it's a big lecture hall, I tend to sit a few rows back but along the aisle. I usually sit in the same seat, too. And since I am usually one of the first to get there, I almost always get my seat.

I sit all around the classroom in each of my different classes. Some classes I sit away from the front of the room, while in others, I'm sitting at the front of the room.
I don't really care where I sit since I am just as productive in one side of the room as I am at the other side of the room, though I prefer to sit in the front as I would be able to listen to the teacher more closely than if I was away from the teacher.

I sit in the front row or the the next row back, so I can absorb the maximum knowledge for my dollar.

Doesn't it bother you when someone is sitting in your seat? I can't stand it. It feels like they are infringing on my personal space...

I don't understand how you can do that! It...it is like they are invading my own personal country with their massive gluteous maximus. It is like sitting on my peace of mind....
