Caffeine actually calms people with ADHD down. So I drink as much as I want and sleep anytime.

Yeah, I have a hell of a time sleeping. I usually have to fight anywhere from 30-60 minutes to fall asleep. If it's a really bad night, sometimes longer. It doesn't make any sense, it just...happens and it's irritating.

I usually get to sleep pretty quickly, but months ago I'd often take 6 hours or more to fall asleep.

Holy shit, that is a long time to be waiting to sleep. I'd go nuts.

I'm part French-Canadian by descent.

And I'm an English Canadian who just happens to be born + raised in Quebec so nyah.

I have no problems getting to sleep. Ten minutes max.

You should've stayed up instead of trying to go to sleep.

I had a few totally sleepless nights. I was a zombie for most of the next day.

I take it you chugged down caffine like crazy in order to stay awake.

It can take me like up to a good hour before I actually fall asleep sometimes. Depends on how tired I am/what time I fall asleep/mood/alignment of stars and moon.

Caffeine doesn't have that much of an effect on me. It's slightly noticeable, but I don't really get much out of it.

Nah, I don't drink coffee or anything. Actually, it was severe anxiety related to severe OCD. Thank goodness for fluoxetine.

Usually when I lack sleep I don't end up a zombie, but I start acting really loopy and saying random things and losing inhibition. Then I become an outright narcoleptic.

I'm usually fine at the start of the day if I don't get enough sleep, but by a few hours in I'm pretty quiet and everything seems to take forever.

Speaking of sleep, I'm just plain zonked. I'm retiring for the night.

I ended up taking a nap after work and some grocery shopping.

You know, before substitute teaching, I never used to take naps. Now, I take one right after work.

If I'm not too tired, I absolutely must read or something, otherwise I'll just never fall asleep. But once I am asleep, I sleep through earthquakes.

I slept through a firework being detonated outside my window. I only heard about it from my neighbours.

I once slept through a thunderstorm that hit a tree fairly close to my house.

Woke everyone else up though! Though in all honesty, that was my old house and my room was at the other end of the house, but the house was smaller than some apartments, so...yeah.

I'm a light sleeper. I've had trouble falling asleep because of this. If someone even like knocks on the door to my room I'll immediately bolt awake. :<

As for sleeping through thunderstorms... those happen often enough here that I've gotten used to sleeping through them, although if thunder hits close enough for it to be REALLY loud, it'll wake me up. If it's off in the distance and just rumbling slightly I can sleep through it.
