Whoo!

I wish I could go out to Seattle again to go visit my really good friend there.

Not you, Terra. Though you are a good friend and I would want to hang out. :3

I'm sorry about your cat. I lost a pretty orange tabby to kidney failure out of the blue, so I know what that's like.

So you mean that you want to go back to Seattle to meat 2 really good friends, right?

Does anyone else think it's odd how "Spring Break" tends to be completely within the season of winter?

They're just being hopeful.

I don't know how comfortable you'd be lumped into a category of "I have a big crush on"

All but one of my cats ran away, then got et. Losing cats suddenly sucks; my condolences, Rena.

That's why you make them indoor cats.

After losing our first cat to a car accident that's what we do with our two current cats, but it's quite sad to hear them crying at the door.

We have 3 dogs and they're trained to use a doggy door. The cats use it now, too. We tried stopping them but it was no use. They've been outside cats for about 2 years now, they've been fine so far.

I think most of the time cats are okay outside (they are animals after all), we just happen to live at a dangerous intersection on a busy street in a state noted for bad drivers...

Cats also tend to stay in the same area because they know where the shelter/food is. They're not that dumb.

Of course, when you end up taking in some strays, they HAVE to be outside cats...

Funny story on taking in strays.

Not long after my favorite cat Shady passed away due to feline leukemia, a seemingly stray kitty started coming around the house. We were never sure where she came from, but mom ended up taking it in anyway, and it's a very happy and friendly kitty. Her name is Catsy.

Don't ask on the name. I didn't name it.

I'd love to take in a stray, but our three dogs would probably chase it off the yard long before we could see it.

Cats sniff the dog, dog sniffs the cats.

That's how it works here. No trouble or concerns. They tolerate each other.

That is also how it worked at my place. My dog loved our cats, and our cats would tolerate my dog.

If I felt like I were a responsible pet owner, I'd get myself a hedgehog. I have a weakness for the little critters nowadays. :3

We've got a cat and a dog. The dog is scared of the cat, and the cat will barely tolerate the dog. Unless he does something to tick her off.

If you don't know what kind of pet I would get, you obviously haven't spent enough time at Jul
