Super Mario World, easy. Even though it was a rushed product, it carried a unique style that has not been seen in any other mario game. Also, nintendo left alot out of the game due to it's production speed, which makes it more fun to hack than most other SNES games, but that is offtopic.

I thought SMW was pretty dull graphics-wise, especially after all of the unique worlds SMB3 had. The clever level design is what saved it though.
