I recently found this game while searching for various rhythm based games,
It is pretty addicting and it has fully functional song rankings and online multiplayer.
The gameplay is rather simple, click the circles that appear in rhythm with the song and occasionally spin your cursor as fast as you can to clear spinners.

I used to be in the top 300, but I stopped playing it 24/7. It's a fun game, and it's easy to make your own songs for it (but getting them approved is a different story).
I'm so used to the mouse for my desktop at home that I honestly can't play it well with any other mouse but that one. |

Well, I just gave it a try and of course I am awful ^^
It clearly has potential, but perhaps more so for those of us not burdened by trackball mice?
Obvious excuses aside, I promised myself I would never learn to play another rhythm game; Stepmania ate my life too effectively for me to be able to make that mistake again.
If anything this demonstrates pretty well that rhythm game skills are entirely non-transferable from one game to another. I tend to joke a lot about how Stepmania gives me superhuman timing and reaction speed, but of course even if it did I'd have to learn how to apply those in each new domain. |

 I used to play (sorta), but I mainly wanted to make stuff. I gave up when my first (and only) beatmap was completely ignored and never even tested. I made custom graphics too.

Using a mouse is pretty hard, I use it all the time seeing as my tablet's stylus broke Dx
I have tried making skins too, but I get bored half way through making them.
And yeah, getting your beatmap approved is a bitch. |

Yeah I sorta fail at the Elite Beat style gameplay, and that's not even with a mouse  I'd seen clips of this with people's songs as far back as '07 I think, so I think this has been around a while too--I imagine its pretty good |
