| Wow, this place blew up since I was here last. In a good way. I thought there was no chance of the boards being able to reconstruct after the scattering, but hey, this is fairly close. |

I remember that I actually joined one of the versions of Acmlm's Board for the RPG stuff, but I didn't have a lot to contribute because I didn't know a lot about rom hacking and the like, and I lost interest quickly.
When I first found this place via the TCRF Wiki I thought it was Acmlm's board and tried to look for my old account. :specialed: |

I managed to get a cheap $20 wireless mouse at Best Buy after my last one died, so it shouldn't cost that much if you know where to look. |

Price is not necessarily my concern- all I need is a cheap wired mouse (since it sits on my desk all the time it seems unnecessary to get something that needs batteries), those should be easy enough to find. It's more just that since I don't have a car and my bicycle is kind of not usable, getting to the store is kind of a long walk- among the most petty of complaints, I admit.
No no no, it's understandable. Unless it's close, walking to a store to get a new mouse seems like too much effort. Just do a quick cleaning job on it and it should last a bit longer. |

I got a Logitech G500 from Amazon because all of my mice are cheap and keep breaking within a few months. It's awesome. It comes with weights and you can have a maximum weight of 27 grams. It also has a maximum DPI of 5,700, which is INSANE. £30, not bad.

I'm still using a nearly 6-year old keyboard and mouse set that uses PS/2 ports. No problems here.

| I think my wireless mouse is on it's way out. Poor thing, I only dropped it like 8 times over the summer moving my computer around... |

I'm using a 22 year old keyboard made by ZEOS (which became Micron PC (which became MPC (which went out of business))) which is of the clicky type, alongside a slowly dying 5-6 year old Trackman wheel Logitech product.
The mouse is USB, while the keyboard is an old big DIN-5 PS/2 thing that required a converter just to use.

Damn son. I thought I was hardcore for using a keyboard made 10 years ago.

I had a keyboard made 10 years go for my main, but I typed on it so much I wore holes in the keys and destroyed the letters. Not that I use the letters.
This keyboard is a bit more heavy duty (and seems to weigh 10+ lbs) so hopefully it will take my abuse a lot better than the old one did. 90 WPM all day long seems to rip through lesser keyboards.

I figured out what you meant after thinking, but for some reasons my first interpretation for "I don't use the letters" was "I type everything as ASCII codes and therefore only need the numpad".
I could do the ASCII code thing if I wanted to (I certainly could memorize it after a while) but that'd just drive me insane and move about 1/4 my current speed. :p
