I think I'll be waiting for the Steam pre-order as well. I don't see the point in getting a boxed version because it's a Steamworks game.

IIRC, getting the PS3 version of the game already entitles you to owning it on Steam.

Yesterday I noticed that Portal 2 was removed from the coming soon section of the Steam store.

So they just updated the main page for Square Enix week sale and hey here is Portal 2.

You get a free copy of Portal if you pre-order. If you have the game already, gift it away.

I think the main point of the skins are having them
show up on the screen of the person you're cooping with

so you can make your robot guys look super cool,
but you can't rub in your early adopter gamestop orderer status
