A teacher told me that people who can't spell won correctly on the internet are really part of a massive conspiracy to annoy people by posting random stupid ravings on the internet. They also smell funny.

Look, I rag on the US system day and night, but one part of the system is precedent.

There's a precedent here. Apple lost to Geohot. Sony is going great guns after this, but they don't appear to realize the precedent set by DeCSS and the IOS incident. The judges are liable to go "Welp, precedent says you lose", and Sony will continue to furiously fight, but it will just be in vain.

Furthermore, according to your own principle of chaos theory, Pyra, you can't predict this case because the air moving through the cleft chin of an attorney could change everything in a mere instant.

Chaos theory does not apply to court cases anyway so I would never make that statement in this case.
