Did anyone else think that halftime show really sucked?

I don't think anybody liked it.

My mom liked BEP's performance. Although she's a fan of BEP in general.

Me, I didn't watch the Super Bowl. For one, I have no TV; for another, I'm not really interested in sports.

The show was great. The audio was terrible. The singing was awful too.

It would've been half decent if Fergie would've shut up and they actually played music in the background.

The audio is ALWAYS terrible whenever they have a halftime show. Maybe it's good in the stadium but it always takes them forever to tweak the audio levels on the TV broadcast.

That being said, there's 15 minutes of my life I'm never going to get back.

I was on break during the Half Time show and the only part that I liked was when Usher came out.

Anyone notice the V in LOVE was only half on or the camera shot that showed under the skirt of the girl in BEP?

I didn't see it during the Super Bowl, I didn't watch any bit of it (not a football fan). But I just watched it on Youtube. The problem with the Black Eyed Peas is that most of their recent music has been about effects and crappy rapping/talking with autotune style. So of course this sounds horrendous when performed live. When they started Where is the Love, it sounded a lot better than everything before that, but still not that great.

If they suck without post-production work, then why the hell did the event coordinator use them in a live setting? Were they cheap?

Most Super Bowl performers don't get paid. They do it for exposure. In Janet Jackson's case especially. Except that wasn't really the point.

I do not remember them doing that song although I was pretty wasted by then.

Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction and John Elway beating the Packers in XXXII rank up there for the best Super Bowl moments.

I noticed that, too (the V thing), and it seemed like a few of the light-up suits on the field were out as well. With such a huge amount of electronics, though, something's bound to go wrong. I don't envy the guy whose job it was to coordinate all of that...
