That's not a proper source.

I want a 6 page bibliography.

The first fucking few lines of what you just pasted completely invalidates your points pyratrooper and reinforces everything we've been saying about how video games on consoles are not licensed to you. You owned yourself, there.

Oh, by the way.

Digital distribution might be the single best way to get backwards compatibility that can span across more than two gens.

Hell, I doubt that's Sony's intention, but that's something they could consider, provided they can make some great emulators.

Sorry for asking this, but games for NGP will have to be bought online right? or will most games come in cartridges?
(I've seen a few images showing off a cartridge for the NGP)

Excuse me, what? Why the hell does the number of backups matter if you're only using one at a time?

Hahahahaha! That's a pretty huge load of bullcrap you just dropped right there.

Having multiple backups of the exact same content for my personal convenience = ripping off the artists? "Twice the enjoyment?" Wow. Someone needs to have their head examined.

tl;dr: You're allowed to make one backup copy of games, music CDs, DVDs, and so on if both the copy and the original are for personal use, unless you had to accept a license agreement saying otherwise.

Actually, that is not entirely correct. You can make as many copies as you want, provided that all (including the original) are for your own use, and doing so is not against the license agreement you accepted. Circumventing copy protection is another matter, but if it's for fair use, you have nothing to worry about.

the fact you are quoting a book that does not support changing copyright laws for the modern age of distribution further proves your incompetence.

There's that, I guess.

I mean, if it costs more than a freaking computer, it will fail.

Afterall, it doesn't have the Apple logo on it

There's your first problem right there. If it's not the "best source", you shouldn't quote from it. Plain and simple.

And the stuff the guy's writing proves it's far from the best source to begin with.

Hmmm... If those specs are true, it sounds like the best course of action will be:
1) Buy the first one I see in a hock shop. (Possibly even new if it's especially cheap... ahahaha)
2) Stash it in the closet.
3) Wait for exploit that allows me to run an N64 emulator.

That's about all the use I'd get out of it.

(Also, bet you it'll have a hardware random number generator. )

Here is one thing the lawyer told me about how corrupt the legal system in the USA has become. Even if you guys are right, he told me it does not matter what the laws say because who ever has the most money wins the court cases and creates the laws in this country.

Hey, if you can make leaps in logic and pick and choose points so can I!

A teacher told me that people who can't spell won correctly on the internet are really part of a massive conspiracy to annoy people by posting random stupid ravings on the internet. They also smell funny.

> @Rena: N64 Emulator

Yes. Even more so now that it's using a media that could have a flashcard made.
