Digital distribution might be the single best way to get backwards compatibility that can span across more than two gens. 1) Buy the first one I see in a hock shop. (Possibly even new if it's especially cheap... ahahaha) 2) Stash it in the closet. 3) Wait for exploit that allows me to run an N64 emulator. That's about all the use I'd get out of it.
