Whats really funny is even at my wife's school, which is basically a trade school, there are people there that act like they don't even want to do what they're there to learn about. She complains about her classmates most nights because they don't pay attention and complain when they have to actually learn something new.

The same goes for regular colleges. I can somewhat understand the kids that are forced there by there parents for a degree they don't want to get. But still, they're given and opportunity that a large population of our country doesn't have access to.

That was me, sort of.

More like I was interested in computer science going in, then lost most of my interest about halfway through but was really pressured to just keep going on to get the degree.

It might also be partly required classes. I didn't like my Windows XP class much - as much as I love the OS, and still think it's the most functioning Windows... it's going down soon, sadly, so it just seemed wasteful - especially since we were learning about things that didn't really apply too much anymore.

I got through it with a B, though.

This, but in high school and we had to use the exact fonts used in the book and follow the steps exactly.

Considering I'm good at following directions and can generally feel my way with computers with them, I got whole UNIT assignments done in 5 minutes.

I'm doing Functional Skills ICT, which is code for "We're going to take up an hour of your time for a useless lesson that teaches you how to put images into Publisher."

I'm NOT kidding. We have an assessment in a few weeks and we're doing mock assessments now and the first task was literally that.
