I still use GAIM. It still works, even though it is five years old.

But that's because all I get when I go on AIM are people from sites I've left wanting to apologize to me for old stuff and/or awkward friends lost to time popping up and interrupting my coding with words.

I have AIM, MSN, Google Talk, two IRC accounts and Skype (though i only use it if i'm asked to).

Yay for multiprotocol clients, though Pidgin kinda sucks

I use Miranda IM - very resource light.

It doesn't bog down a machine with 28MB of RAM. That's why I started using it, and honestly, it's why I continue to.

Towards the end of my Windows era, my Miranda ate over 13MB of RAM. That was because of my huge profile, though. But yeah, Miranda is quite awesome.

I'm pretty sure it does.

Hell, I think mIRC supported 95 until v7. I don't use 7, though, partly because the nagging just got worse.
