I joined to try and get people to work together on a big NSMB hack

so no, I really didn't have any plans on staying once that was fully done

Ah, so they're still giving drugs to the newbies? Back when I joined the place known as Acmlm's Board, I was given some free samples of "Acmlm pills" by one "witeasprinwow". That was back when you got stuff just for being new, before the economy collapsed. Turns out that before long, I was forking over half of my paychecks to shady street-corner merchants for more pills.

It's a wonderful addiction to have, though

I think I mostly wasted time at TV Tropes/Wikipedia/etc. I did go to Project Aon and Sierra Planet more regularly in those days, and I talked to Illumina on AIM almost every day.
