I think you've got it backwards- Jul is the subforum.

But yeah, I've noticed that too... the SM64 and NSMB forums have a lot of users who only stay in their respective forums, so maybe we just scare people away in the main forums?

Jul does seem a bit like several boards welded together in some ways. Not totally, as the people who only post in KVSG/NSMB/SM64 still have to answer to the same staffers and follow the same rules as people who mostly post in General and Craziness.

Well, there is no 'solution' as far as the hacking subforums go. They only come to hack, not to chat, usually.

Now as for KvSG, maybe you could get Peardian to encourage his viewers to look at the rest of Jul? Not that it is any real big problem in my book. Just another subculture here at Jul. When you get this big, subgroups are bound to pop up.

Hell, back in 2003 and 2004, I only cared about SMW hacking, with rare posts elsewhere.

...Now I'm kinda shying away from the hacking forums.

For most of my time at Acmlm's, I didn't even check over half of the fora at all. I was mostly only in General, Newbie, Craziness, some of the gaming fora, and ROM Hacking if I was working on a ROM hack.
