So, who here uses RSS feeds for keeping track of things that update? I use them quite a lot for getting updates for webcomics, Youtube user channels, a couple Twitter users, and various other places around the internet. I don't know that many real-life people that use them, though, so I'm curious about how much people here use them, if at all.

If so, what do you use to read them? I personally use Google Reader.

I've recently installed an RSS feed so I would be informed about Comic Con.

Unfortunately it didn't exactly work out, but I have The Onion feed so I'm not going to drop it.

Nope. I come from the pre-feed era and I check each Web site I'm tracking individually. Yeah, I know I end up missing a lot.

I love RSS, it's made using the internet so much easier... I used Outlook for awhile, I switched to Google Reader last April when I was having computer issues, right now I am registered to 138 feeds... (though not all of them are active)

Also, it's a convenient way to follow people's Twitter account without actually having to get a Twitter.

I use them, but I'm not subscribed to a whole lot. Only five: OC Remix, in_cube's forum, Nintendo Papercraft, OZMAV code page, and ZREO. I check my favorites sites often enough that I don't need feeds.

I hate when sites don't have RSS. In some cases I've been known to hack together my own page-scraper to replace it. I have about 30 feeds bookmarked that I check every day.
