Pretty self explanatory. What bands/singers/music groups etc. have you seen at live performances?

Considering SummerFest is always hosted in Milwaukee I go there on and off. I think I've been there 5 or 6 times; mainly because it's just a two hour drive from my house in Wisconsin and it's always fun to go. I don't remember all the bands I've seen at SummerFest but a few names that come to mind are Yellowcard, Elvis Costello, Def Leppard, Tom Petty, and Nine Inch Nails. 2007 was the best year by far.

Other bands I've seen: Cake, Minus the Bear, Mates of State, and Ben Folds. I've also seen several DJs at clubs/raves (aww yeah), but the only one that comes to mind is DJ Quasar.

So what bands/singers/music groups etc. have you seen live?

No bands. I have, however, seen the War of the Worlds Musical live. It was SO awesome.

I haven't been to too many concerts. The bands I can think of that I've seen live are:

Barenaked Ladies - my first concert, a friend took me in middle school
Megadeth - a friend took me in high school
Alien Ant Farm - free concert at college
311 - same as above
NESkimos - PAX
Minibosses - PAX
MC Chris - PAX and a free concert at college
Ozma - a concert i actually paid to go see

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Let's see....
I won't list stuff I wasn't there to watch, if there were multiple bands

- Metallica
- Yngwie Malmsteen
- Gamma Ray (x2)
- Helloween
- Iron Maiden (x2)
- Dream Theater (x4)
- Periphery
- Zappa Plays Zappa
- Terror (x2)
- Rush

something like that, I might be forgetting a few, but that's the gist of it

I've only recently been keeping an eye out for when interesting bands come into town, and actually going to concerts that interest me. So as of now, only Creed. I also saw a Yanni concert, and a few cirque shows, but that's about it. I hope to eventually see Kamelot live during their North American tour. Really, there aren't that many groups I want to see live, and the ones I do usually don't come around here.

I have only ever seen Weird Al live. Unless you count the Marine Corp Rock Recruitment Band, then I saw that at school. Man was my Music teacher unhappy...

I've never been to a concert. However, I did meet Taproot at a surprise autograph session. They were really cool guys.

In chronological order:

The Misfits (Michael Graves era)
Metallica
Godsmack
Metallica (with guest stars Linkin Park before they had a real career, and Limp Bizkit)
Korn (who sucked live)
Miyavi (HOLY SHIT the greatest guitarist I have ever seen)
X-Japan (... I was practically -vibrating- with energy when I got out of that concert. That'll be the concert I never forget -- they even played my favorite song, and I rocked the fuck out the entire time.)

...and my girlfriend bought tickets to Distant Worlds for my birthday. April 2nd, I get to hear the opera from FFVI in person.

Just the Blue Man Group and Earth Wind & Fire, one time. Seen the Chicago Symphony a couple times but that's an orchestra (albeit one of the best orchestras period), not really a "band" though.

I've only ever seen Earth Wind and Fire with Chicago. I think that was in '09/08. I have no real interest in seeing bands live.

Heeey, same here!
Aside from that, I went to Nightwish in 2007 (best concert ever, fyi), but aside from that, there's only things like church events with local bands playing and such.
