in the meantime, if you're playing with trusted friends, you can connect to your server in offline mode.
what sort of server administration programs do you guys recommend? I know to stay away from mcadmin, but other than that, I'm not sure where to go. there are so many choices. basically looking for anything great at minimizing lag.

I recently came across a program that fixes this problem where chunks seem to be all rotated around, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is or how to describe it to google. does anyone know what I am talking about?

What, you need wheat? :eyebrow: You know, you could just use someone else's farm and replace the seeds afterwards. I know Xk's got a pretty good-size one at spawn, and hell I've got some near my spot too.
And I may as well say it like this, I don't see why to trade for wool instead of dye. Convenience? Two dye leads to 2-6 wool and, by your prices, costs the same as a single block. 1G gets me one wool now, OR 2-6 whenever I find the sheep.
Honestly, I just haven't looked for seeds. So...yeah.
The extra cost for the dyed wool is because I ran out and got the wool and then dyed it myself with my resources. If you wanna dye it yourself, by all means, you get the bargain. If you don't want to/get lazy/have an overabundance of stuff to spend, get the dyed wool. *Shrugs* Anyone's call.
I'll get back to you on the wood thing. It's tricky figuring out a currency for a game that doesn't really have one (right now).

I'm gonna start working on a massive mob harvester. If I do it right, I should be able to get 2 levels of 2 harvesters for enemy mobs and one level of two harvesters for friendly mobs
