Making Lego Star Wars displays for Lego Land.

I would take minimum wage if I had the chance to play with Legos all day. Although the quality of work that these guys do, I doubt they make less than 4-5x that. This stuff is awesome!

I love Lego I'm the ultra-rare FAFOL (Female Adult Fan Of Lego), as I put it to the cashier at the Lego Store in Bellevue. I don't buy much now because I'm trying to save money, though.

Sweet.

I want to start building Legos again but I'm not sure where I would put them when I'm done. I should buy more shelves.

I got an AT-AT for Christmas once and spent 3 hours putting it together, with instructions. I can't imagine how long it takes these guys to put together things this large.

Models can be fun, but I prefer Legos. More originality and creative potential. The AT-AT was a Lego version and it still took 3 hours. I think they've come a long way in the packaging so that smaller subsections are bagged together and you don't have to go searching through a huge pile to fine the 1 small piece you need to continue.

Yeah, with Lego you can make your own stuff too

Drawback: Looking through a collection of ~20k bricks for that one glow-in-the-dark wand piece.

I remember Lego... wonder what I did with all the Lego that I used to have, however... I also had a Lego block game for the computer years ago (Lego Creator?)

You know, I could probably do that myself if you give me references and enough Legos to actually pull that off.

I always did want that job, designing playsets and all, but I don't even know -how- someone goes doing that.

My brother and I used to play for hours with a huge box of Legos that we had. This was in Puerto Rico before we got a Playstation, so there wasn't much else to do. We would build big stuff and then the next day we'd take it all apart and start something new. We had a 3x3' box or so full of Legos we'd collected for a few years.

My boyfriend and I love Legos, but they're just way too expensive I once got a box which had like 100 pieces, and I used those for years

Lego buckets... Such great Christmas presents.

No idea where they are now, though. We probably gave them away. :\

I still play with them.

Here's a sample of one thing.

When I find the cable that connects with my digital camera, I'll upload shots of the Lego wrestling arena I made. It's really quite accurate.

With the exception of the fact the ropes shatter when you run into them?

I actually used sewing thread for the ring ropes, Colin. It's a bitch to tie sometimes, but it works better than anything else I can find. Plus, I have a near unlimited amount of colors I can use.
