| In Pozealand. Commander Joe of the Special Freedonia Mecha Ops or "Robonick Corps" is at the top floor of the tower.
"Jeez... They're all... throwing up... So this is what that Catgirl Ray does..." Says Joe. "Joe! Life signs behind this door!" Yells Paula, the other Op sent in with Joe. Joe remarks "Heh... Scanners show a chaos emerald right on us." "This is Robotnick Corps Commander Joeseph! Come out with the Chaos Emerald or we'll bust in there! OK... Fine... It's was your choice!" *Joe busts down the wall* "OH JEEZ! Another catgirl!" screams Joe "JOE! SHE'S GOT THE CHAOS EMERALD!" exclaims Paula. *Joe snatches it* "I'll be taking this you hungover freak of nature." And at that. Joe and Paula take off over the border hopefully never to deal with Pozealand again. ___________________________________________________________________ OOC: Hopefully my posts are a bit easier to understand. We were left untouched, probably because they believed their attacks would have been enough." "Well, it seems there is a much bigger threat than the Maelstrom now. Can we find the cloaked island?" VP: "Yes, but it will take time. We should have their location in approximately 36 hours, less if we're lucky." "Good. Initiate the scan, and contact Freedonia. Tell them their plan is unneeded, for I have a much better one. Also inform them of the possibility of Sanctuary devices being hidden in their country. Tell them our scanners are busy locating Sanctuary, so we won't be able to help for at least 36 hours with that." VP: "Aye, sir. Is that all?" "Indeed it is. "Mmmf..." ------------- BACK AT THE FRONT "We are the ones who launched missiles at your alliance. Currently we are investigating an internal situation that involves that exact same missile launch. We believe we our commander is currently ill. A revolt has started and this is the worst possible time for your current actions. I would simply ask to "try again later", but in war that just doesn't seem reasonable. Unfortunately, our orders are to not shoot, but seeing that shield there is a bit disheartening. You seem pretty confident in the structural integrity of that shield. You are sure our bullets won't get through?" The soldiers back up and lower their guns. "I am curious though...What would happen if all useful electrical systems nearby were safely underground and suddenly an EMP bomb was used? Would it harm the systems...Or you?" The soldiers sit down. "If my guesses are correct, even your robots there couldn't stand a chance against an EMP. So a standstill it seems? Again. Leave or attack. The choice is yours, but we can stand here all day." ------------- ELSEWHERE "MRFFFF..." A loud thump is heard throughout the commanders base. ------------- COMMANDERS BASE "Well well, commander Sails. Look out that window. See those people? The ones carrying something red? "In an attempt to at least save the higher ups from any toxin based issues first, we had it originate from the commanders very room!" "Amazing. I was looking forward to ripping apart an impostor." "We'll need to do some cleaning up while he is gassed however. Work on cleaning up the city. Tell everyone to remove the corpses." "Meh. Whatever." ------------- THE FRONT The soldiers struggle to get a signal from the commander base, but nothing comes though. "We...We don't know what to do. We don't have the EMP on call and it doesn't appear these men are buying the part about the commander! We are basically sitting out here bluffing our asses off! We better think of something quick..." whispers the leader. "I suppose we better play it smart and hope something comes around. Keep playing the part men!" The leader speaks up... "Like we said, we advise you take everything and leave. We can assure you that your leave will be safe and these problems can be resolved later, without fighting!" |
