Hi guys, I would like to introduce my hack to you.

It's called Super Mario RPG Expansion (of course, that's the name of the thread), this hack is an expanded version of the original. Well, it's pretty much like the original, with a few tweaks, and some expansion add-ons as follows:

-Maximum level is now 50 (instead of 30).
-Maximum experience is not at 32k instead of 9999.
-Maximum gold coins is now at 9999 instead of 999.
-Max HP reaches 300+.
-Different Level Up stats gain.
-Plenty of Easter Eggs.
-More than 39 hidden chests.
-Additional items added.
-New monsters added.
-Hidden lost levels added.
-Super items like Kuribo's Shoe that makes mario jump real high, Bunny Shoes (extra fast), War Medal (Allows to fight some non-battle monsters), etc.
-New enemy spells.
-Different enemy battle scripts.

Yes, there are some tweaks, some monsters will give more, some will give less. But, most of the time, it will stick close to the default exp gain. And yes, monsters will be harder. Sometimes, you need to exert strategy in order to win. I got creamed a couple of times myself.

As for the inventory... sad to say, but it cannot be done without expanding the tables and reassigning the pointers via ASM. I don't have such skills to do that. Although, I may be able to apply it in the future.

This looks really cool, and I've actually been playing the original to death lately. I wouldn't mind being a beta tester.

Wow! This seems preety cool. I've played Super Mario RPG, so this is preety cool to me. When will they make this game for ds? The world may never know.
