Mom says I should never transfer because it disrupts my studies, even if I'm transferring to UPenn where I will probably end up paying little to nothing D:

Though, I don't think I could get into Penn unless I raise my average to over 3.95

Transferring is the best idea if you aren't at a university. Otherwise, transferring might be a bad idea.

Then again, if you can get in and it is better/nearly free, I don't see the problem.

All of our decorations are down for the year.

Mom has taken is as an opprotunity to clean the curtain in the front room. I'll have to relish having that room being livable while I still can.

Still seeing a lot of Christmas lights on houses around here.

If they're not down within the next week or so, I'd consider them to be lazy people.

Sometimes people wait until the weather's not too cold.

Is there any snow on the ground over there? I have a feeling we'll probably wait to take down the lights until all the snow around the power cords has melted.

We took down our Christmas tree today. It hardly feels like winter, or even 2011. I guess that will change when it actually gets cold again.

There's a bit of snow but not a large accumulation.

I'd say it's more the cold and ice but it depends on how the lights are set up to begin with. :\

Comic Con is looking very VERY do-able after all. $242 round-trip advanced bus ticket (since there's an $18 charge because it'll likely have to be paid on my parents' card) plus an opprotunity to meet +1 online friend on the way to or back (or both!). Plus about $600 I can use for it equals about $450 for Comic Con (Estimated if I can om some premade PB&Js or have to survive on fast food for the trip), considering con ticket and hotel isn't an issue.

If fallout happens and I can't get this ticket (or some awesome airfare deals pop up), at least Amtrak will hopefully be a good bailout at $300 round-trip.

School no longer applies since my sister said she never had to repay her grant money so it sounds highly likely that this is also the same case, though an 11 year difference leaves room for laws to be changed. Still, though, that leaves just under $2000 I can use for school? I'm probably leaving out something terribly major here, but I only needed about $700 for school anyway and got $2700 for a community college. $2000 to squirrel away for school does not sound like a terrible strategy at all. But again laws and bluh bluh that could screw me over.

	Reinstalling windows 7 now. I did some security updates only but I guess that build 7600 sneaks in from one of those updates and that's what puts the WGA crap in for this copy. Reminds me everytime I log in and takes away my wallpaper and puts a "This copy of Windows is not genuine" message with a black screen. ____________________
