They enshrine homework policy in law over there?

Oh my You're in Germany, right? Do you know if that is a state law or a federal law?

"A horrible person". That's what it says. "A horrible person."

We weren't even testing for that.

State law, most likely. Can't imagine it being federal law in any way.

Oh, okay, that makes more sense. Some U.S. states have very crazy laws (although most of those are not enforced).

To be honest, the only elements that I can remember are just the ones that we've covered a lot. We're starting the Group 2 elements today and redox reactions, so this should be interesting.

I don't even remember homework... its been 8 years since I was in high school. I remember some of the projects I had to work on, though. Like the creative ones where we had to make or build something. Those were my favorite. Paper projects and the like: meh, boring.

Like how in Maine, shotguns are required to be brought to church in the event that Native Americans attack.

There are also state laws that forbid alcohol. They are just ignored now a days. It's pretty weird.

In my home town, it is illegal to park your horse-drawn cart on the main road and urinate on the front wheel.

Why the front wheel, I don't know. I see that and wonder if the back wheel is okay.

It is also legally required that every taxi carry a bale of hay in the trunk.

And do taxis have those hay bales?

Also, is it legal to pee on a front wheel of an automobile, then? Or, for that matter, an ox-drawn cart? What about a bicycle?

Yeah, laws get weird. Try this.

See, this is why it is so...confusing

And no, Taxis do not have said hay bales. (Edit: Haha, the taxi law is present in that link)

Yep. How will the Australian vehicle-peeers know where they can pee if the laws are so damn vague?

Oh wow, it seems Pennsylvania is pretty strict, too.

Any motorist driving along a country road at night must stop every mile and send up a rocket signal, wait 10 minutes for the road to be cleared of livestock, and continue.

You may not catch a fish by any body part except the mouth.

You may not sing in the bathtub.

The last one is particularly shocking ... ... really?

I'm afraid to even ask how these laws pass.

Is anyone even tempted to break the dumb ones?
