ok, that makes sense, but when i had a pipe with one entrance, i couldn't go in.
when i added 3, it worked.

I have a very big problem. When I play with Mario, in most of my Levels, i cant hear anything. No coin sound, no jump sound, no groundpound sound. NO NOTHING! Can anybody help me?

is it possible to edit world 1:1 area 3?

i get a freeze when i enter the pipe.

There is something in the area that you built that is crashing the level. A 276 sprite that extends past the map will do it for instance. Or, a sprite that hasn't been selected in the level configuration menu. If it is red on the map edit screen, I have had them crash the level.

Check that your pipe is assigned correctly.

all i did was make the area somewhat bigger.
and all the sprites and objects are from the tileset, nothing different.

and i added some pipes... and water...

i would show you a pic of it, but i deleted it out of frustration.

I had the same problem long time ago...
If I played my level, the NO$GBA Emulator crashed with the error: "ROM IMAGE CRASHED"!
how to fix it:

1) EXPORT a "bugfree area" of another level.
2) IMPORT the "bugfree area" to your "bug area".
3) EDIT the imported area.
4) SAVE.
5) PLAY.

If it doesnt work then I dont know how to fix it. (In my hack it worked )

Now to my questions:

1:
(I know the texture editor is not finished yet)
Is it possible to export the colour pallete of 3d textures?
If yes, how?

2: What is the maximum size of an MvsL-level?

3: Am I allowed to add a zone and a "activate activators on events"-sprite to a MvsL-level?
I mean, because these sprite doesnt need a texture.

And please give awnsers...


I would test it myself if i had two Nintendo DS.

Is it possible to hack the game, so you can die underwater? Like in Super Mario 64 with the lifebar under water.
Another Question:
Why, my objects dissappear, before I am going into the zones?

I mean, like the "00 00 00 80"-behavior, only left right

A texture dump is a file, where are all textures in.

Yes, you can, but it's done differnetly now.
Select the first non-existant object and click "Set end" (on top)

Have you a Backup? I had the same problem too. Bu ti had a backup. Then i exported my new level and imported it in the backup^^ Or right click on the rom and then klick on restore previous versions.

It doesnt have something to do with the jyotu tileset, because I imported a new one in the game.
The problem doesnt stop-.-
This problem is only in my W1-2...

Heh, nice marquee tag. I improved it for you
(In other words, please PLEASE do not use it)

Try to chech if the behaviors are the same as the original coins. If I remember correctly, there are several coin behaviors in the original jyotyu tileset. Check what one are you using.
Also, check that the map16 tile number is the same as the original one. There are a lot of things that are tied to a specific map16 tile number that can't be changed, i'm not sure if the P-switch is one of those.
