The only thing that really needs updating in Super Metroid is the control scheme. It already has 16-bit graphics.

If they did port SM to a DS, I'd get it straight away

You get the GB Player effect if you load up VBA for Wii and play Zero Mission on your TV.

And yes, I've done that. Totally acceptable.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Reverie for DS. February 14, 2011.

Finally. Talk about a delay...

I'll actually be getting INSIDE my old blue DS for a deep clean after I spilt Monster on it the other day. The L and Power buttons are pretty sticky, and I want to rectify that.

Of course I'll have to wait for the freaking tri-wing screwdriver to come in the mail instead of, you know, going down to a hardware store and getting one there. Stupid somewhat logical reasons for doing such a thing.

At least Nintendo makes pretty durable equipment. You'd probably need to soak the thing in energy drink for 2-3 minutes to kill it for good.

And how! I've dropped the original grey brick Gameboy we have COUNTLESS times as a kid, and it still works! In fact it was kinda finicky from all the droppings until I dropped it again, in which case everything was made better again!

And yeah, I went in with a slightly damp paper towel within 2 minutes and soaked up all that I could possibly have. Slightly damp to try and get rid of the stickiness, but yeah.

I just hope there isn't a case of 'sudden death' with my DS because of this, especially with the gift of Wi-Fi I hope to receive this Christmass. If so, then it'll be a very bitter irony.

I had an odd incident happen a couple of summers ago with my DS.

I accidentally dropped it one time, and the volume completely screwed up. The only way I could actually hear anything was through headphones. Then I accidentally dropped it once more and the sound worked perfectly.

I never did figure out why.

I believe there's a button in the headphone port that disables the speakers when pressed. I had a similar thing happen with my old DS Lite. Button got stuck I guess, and dropping it must've freed it up.

I dropped a Game Boy Color on a wood bridge in the rain while playing Pokemon Red. The impact ejected the game. I picked it up, put the game back in, and continued from my last save.

I've had games run through the washer a time or two. Pokemon Red was one of them, I think.

So yeah. Nintendo stuff is built to last.

Define DS Lite. I still have my old one of those if you haven't seen what it looks like and need pictures. (No irregular treatment)

Still works PERFECTLY.

I also have a Game Boy (it's really my half-sister's), and usually it works perfectly, even after being dropped a million times.

But the big problem I'm facing now is EXACTLY the same thing as Rick had with his DSLite. Also the occasional power malfunction.

I sure hope the screwdriver I ordered works. Screws are a little larger than the DS...

I must have bad luck with Nintendo handhelds.

DS Lite's L and R buttons stopped working, but I hear that's a common problem. Thing has survived drops onto pavement before though.

My GBC's screen broke, but with all the things that happened to it before.. :x

Guess they just have weak points, and most people don't hit them.

EDIT: GBA's screen broke too. Got stepped on by my brother. SP's screen is stopping to work because of the hinged design.

Everything I've ever had from Nintendo works perfectly. Gameboy Pocket, GBA, Cube, Wii. The only exception was the power supply unit for our N64, but that was easily replaced via eBay.

The most damage I've ever done was to accidentally break one of the hinges on my DS.

Has anyone made a backup of this video? It seems the user removed it

My Gamecube and DS are both from launch-day and they still work perfectly, granted, I'd taken care of them as if they were my babies. Now I neglect them, though, DSi and Wii came

I wonder why the 3DS's cartridge code is CTR and not 3DS?
