With my luck, it will only start when I need to catch a plane. I remember one year almost not being able to get home because of snow and ice, and having to almost spend Christmas in Redding all alone.

Pacific Northwest. I've seen about an inch of snow personally in the last two years.

Well ... I guess snow is better than rain for walking outside ... but not when it accumulates

If it has to do something other than rain, the snow would be fine. Freezing rain would not. Rain of blood is right out.

Its snowing in Vegas again. We had some really light snow last night and now today its pretty heavy. Already at 1/4 inch of accumulation and its supposed to last until noon or later. Its a good and bad thing. Good because it doesn't happen that often and its great to see snow. Bad because most drivers here act like its the end of the world and forget how to drive.

I heard yesterday it was raining back in PA and the temperature was in the 50s or high 40s.

And we're experiencing unusually cold weather here in PR.

Still no snow in Seattle

Although given how cold it's been, I figure snow could fall any day now.

I don't think I could ever like Seattle, I hate wet climate. Give me 20 precipitation days / year, please.

Southern California sounds nice, except for the earthquakes.

There are not as many earthquakes as you think. Most of them you can not feel, anyways.

Yeah, I know. I lived in Puerto Rico all my life and Puerto Rico is just south of the "Puerto Rico trench" which is the deepest trench in the entire Atlantic Ocean. (spooky, isn't it?)

Looks like we might get more snow at the end of the week... hoping the storm will miss us, though.

The snow melted shortly after it stopped which was around 10am at my office. It was nice while it lasted.

Now everyone is bracing for a big storm, to the point that the local schools are canceled before I've even seen a single flake fall on the ground... they must be pretty confident, that doesn't happen too often.

No snow here and none forecast. Which is good. We're already three weeks behind in Ethics & Philosophy.

The house here in So Cal is shaken more by the Space Shuttles landing than earthquakes, anyway. There's only one big one every 20ish years anyway.
