Some say they're what landed at Roswell in 1947, and that their right eye sees infrared light. All we know is, they're called The Stigandr.

I think I got to the third or maybe, MAYBE 4th mission before giving up. Those races were really difficult...

I'm playing SMW again on my cellphone ... I made it to Wendy's castle, I'm not sure how well I'll do in that horror. I still need to go back to Chocolate Island 1 and find that hidden exit ._.

I just finished Mass Effect again. Two names popped out this time round; Marina Sirtis and Jennifer Hale. Counsellor Troi (Star Trek) and Samus Aran (Metroid Prime Trilogy)!

I made it past Wendy's, I'm in Larry's castle now. I only need to beat that, Bowser, and the Special World and I'm done.

...I never noticed that.

But yeah, I've been doing the same thing. Working my way through an arsehole run of ME1/2. Beat ME1, slowly recruiting people in ME2.

And regardless of what anyone else says about Miranda, having someone with an Australian accent in a game is soothing.

And so with no other games to play besides Chrono Trigger DS (I can't be arsed to beat F-Zero GX's Emerald and Diamond Cups on Master class and then beat said class with ALL RACERS), I'm firing up Galaxy 2 again for my third playthrough.

God this game is so great.

I didn't even notice that her accent was Australian. On a subconscious level, I suppose I thought it was British.

Well, I suppose that's what happens when the closest thing to an Australian accent I can recall hearing in the past couple of years is the Sniper from TF2.

Anyway, I just got through a ME2 playthrough myself, and I'd be willing to say that it was a step above ME1. Combat felt less awkward, I spent far less time messing around with equipment and whatnot, and personally, I'm glad that I didn't have to drive a single vehicle to beat the game. The only major problem I had was that missions in "hub" areas are sometimes pretty vague as to where you're supposed to go, so I had to wander around a bit too much for my liking.

Still, it's a pretty solid game, and I spent quite a bit of time playing it. For the $10 I payed for it, I'd say it was much more than worth it.

I, uh, can't even seem to tell British accents from Australian ones *hides from Xenesis and Zero One*

OTOH, I do pick up on accents (vaguely) fairly fast, so when I went to Germany I developed a pseudo-German accent. A German person thought I was Australian, though

Really? They're so different! Maybe you haven't had enough exposure to them? I've seen Australian movies and I struggle to understand them

Back on topic... I finished SMW so I'm going back to chaining Jigglypuffs on Pokemon Platinum.

I am playing Mario vs. Donkey Kong Mini-Land Mayhem. It's a nice game, but can get rawr at times. Thankfully, they let up on the points limits due to how convoluted Plus Mode can be, and they give you a Mini-Guide with a demo to show you how when you mess up too much.

It can still be crazy hard.

And Pauline's voice acting needs polished.

I'm fairly certain she's British. Meh, I'll find out later when I play ME2.

Back to Pokemon! I decided to practice with a more common Pokemon, such as Roselia, and I got the chain up to 28, then it broke ... only two more and I would've started resetting for a shiny.
