Database: Thanks for the support; it certainly helps my motivation.

Anyway, in between doing homework, donating blood, and reading, uh, reference material, I haven't had much time to work on this. Despite the delay, though, all of the old strips have the new font now. As such, I can focus on new ones, like this:


I imagine mutants that large have to snack quite often.

Looks like we've got another one. This time, I decided to try something different with the perspective, namely in the first two panels. Tell me what you think.


Blubba seems to share more with Yakra than just his sprite.

Also: In the interest of not spoiling anything for new readers in the future, I'm going to take down the character profiles in the first post. Apologies if you actually read those.

I know you don't care for motion lines/blur, but the complete lack of them does make some panels a bit confusing.

Well, I was trying to get away with using the sound effects themselves as motion lines and whatnot, but if it really is too confusing, I can revert back to something a bit more traditional.
Regardless, I'll try to make use of motion blur in the future.

Also, this is a bit of an important matter, so I'd like to hear a few more opinions before I put the next one up.

I think some blur could help make things a bit clearer. (if that makes any sense) I mean, the sound effects do help...

After thinking long and hard about it, I have decided that I don't really want to tell this story in the form of a sprite comic anymore. Most of it was not conceived with a sprite comic in mind, and the more and more I work on it, the more and more I realize that it isn't really going to work out the way I intended it to. As such, I'd really prefer to find another medium that I can work with before attempting to manifest the story that has taken me years to create.

Anyway, I won't continue this comic anymore, but since I kinda enjoyed making it, I made a little "ending" for it:


Fun Fact: This is pretty much how the original dream ended.

Apologies to anybody who enjoyed reading these, but hopefully you'll be able to see the story actually continue one of these days. Of course, you can also read those threads in the meantime, but they aren't quite like this.

Maybe in the future, I'll attempt to make something kinda different than this, but until then, this is the end of my adventures in sprite comic making.
It's too bad, but at least I had a bit of fun.
