Last summer I saw DJ Quasar during a visit to LA and it was a very enjoyable experience; not just because I love the club scene, but because I was introduced to a new type of electronica music, which is one of my favorite genres. House music takes a more ambient approach to techno with slower beats and sort of combines funk, techno, and jazz. Most house songs are of crazy long lengths because they can generally ease their way into a more complex beat without completely distracting from the previous one.

So anyways, I was just wondering if anyone was into it? Come to think of it, do any of you guys enjoy electronica music? You know, techno, trance, ambient or anything like that? I'd like to know.

All of the above~

I like specific songs from pretty much any genre, but electronica musics are some of my favourite genres in general. I'm being super vague because I have a hard time fitting songs into the 'proper' genre, so I don't know what my favourites are, really. heheh.

Electro house is pretty much the best house music.

Also house musicians (and in general, mainstream trance and techno musicians) are total dicks.

I like music that generally sounds like there was effort put into it; e.g. the artist was more focused on making something that sounds good, rather than making a money grab, so I don't like rap. *zing*

House music is tough to pin down though. It's hard to get a good mix of electronica and jazz going a lot of times because they are both pretty different genres in themselves with their own idiosyncrasies.

I really do love electronic music! My favorite music style is electronic music.

I mostly just listen to Eurodance and some techno and dance-pop but I do have quite a few house and trance songs. Overall, I'd say about 75% of my songs are Eurodance (a few are Italo-Disco but I count them as Eurodance), though...

I also have a collection of Eurodance songs in quite a few different European languages.

I like all the above. House, Techno, Trance, etc. There's a station here called 94.5 the vibe that plays all trance/dance music. From it, I first heard a few of my new favorites:
