Could someone please explain Boxing Day to me and what it means? It's not a name used too often in the USA. I hear it occasionally, but I never understood what it actually was.

Nobody's ever done a foxgirl, to my knowledge. And Disgaea's awesome, so... yeah.

Believe it or not... I didn't get any gift cards this year.

I was hoping for some Target cards.

Could be worse, I guess - at least I got some money.

I'd occasionally get gift cards, usually from the fundie wing of the family. My parents and more sane relatives were more likely to send cash or cheques if they went the money route.

There's a tradition in my extended family that almost forbids giving money for xmas ... People expect you to try to find something they want and buy them that even if it's just a calendar (lol)
