After seeing a piece of it just float by, I have to wonder--how often do people suddenly see floating pieces of link pass them by in the air? You know--small threads or bits of fabric... just floating there, for no real reason.

It's just weird.

Yeah, I was about to say, I see these often, but they're floaters.

I'm old, so my floaters look like dark specks with a weird transparent chain-link looking tail.

I got floaters. And a really annoying one, which is right *next* to my vision center, so if i try to focus on it, i just fly around with my eyes. Oh, and it's black. So it's probably not a floater. Even more annoying then one, though.

I occasionally spot a floater that looks like a tiny black spiral. It's been there for years.

A little from column A, a little from Column B. There are literal specks of lint, which I can grab out of the air to verify they are real--and the occasional floater as well, which make annoying line shapes in my eyes and occasionally distract me.

Occasionally (this has only happened like twice) I see little flashing particles all over for a few seconds... but those I'm fairly confident weren't real because they disappeared fairly quickly as well, so I'm not sure what was up with that.

But I think I've seen those kinds of dust particles before... just kind of floating in mid-air.

Sometimes I'll see a ray of light shining in the house and dust floating everywhere. At first you're like "Thats a cool effect" and then you remember that its dust and that you need to clean.

That's more related to blood flow to the brain. Often happens to people when they get up too fast or something, and the blood pressure to the brain drops for a few seconds, while the heart catches up.

Huh... could this be anything I should be worried about? I mean, this was in the middle of the day, not when I just woke up or anything... (but it was also kind of awhile ago)

Not terribly, although I've heard it sometimes (but not always) is related to an iron deficiency.

It's weird with me. Sometimes I get it endlessly and for minor resting (especially after lots of exercise), and other times I can just pop up and down off of things without stumbling about weakly.
