...did you pay $666 for this pack or is it just a coincidence that another person named paulguy did so?

| | | | my day 1 impressions on this, as a 64bit Linux user (This may be worth mentioning for some issues I'm having with a couple games)
Osmos
really awesome game, beautiful, challenging, definitely not a blockbuster amazing action game, but its a great way to pass some time
Revenge of the Titans
This is my favourite game of the pack, easily. Really unique art style, I'm totally in love with it. A few game modes to make it interesting, and I'm just a huge fan of turret defence games to begin with, this made buying the bundle worth it to me.
Braid
Well, this is the one I was really looking forward to trying out. I don't know if its just the Linux version, but this had two really bad dealbreakers for me.
First, no gamepad support. I shouldn't have to go download a 3rd-party application (qpadjoy in my case) and hand configure my gamepad just to play a platformer, everyone knows they just arent as much fun on a keyboard.
Second is that I can't make it windowed, there's a screen size setting, but its greyed out and I can't select it, I also can't alt-tab away from the game. For those reasons I haven't played more than the first world and a half, the game itself is pretty fun so far, I'm sure it will get better. However the two aforementioned issues really make it not as much fun as it should be.
Cortex Command
I dunno lolz!
Seriously, the game just crashes for me.
Machinarium
I haven't tried this one yet, it looked like one of those flash adventure style games to me, which are really not my cup of tea. After I'm done enjoying the fuck out of RotT and Osmos, I might give this one a spin.

Braid for Windows definitely has a windowed option and several command line options... not really sure if those would translate over to Linux or not.

I must admit I wondered the exact same thing.
The bundle looks neat, I suppose I should pick it up despite owning half of it already. |

Machinarium became my favorite adventure game of all time when I played it a few months ago, supplanting even the Legend of Kyrandia series. Behind the charming style, the game is full of emotion and the puzzle solutions are clever and logical. You barely ever feel like the solution was completely stupid and arbitrary, which is the plague of all adventure games.
Unless you absolutely abhor the genre, it's worth playing the whole thing just for the art direction.
I found Braid to be disappointing in general; there were a bunch of cool ideas that were marred by poor execution. I didn't know time travel could be boring and obnoxious until I played Braid.
Have not played the other three; I hear RotT is basically tower defense so I'm staying away from it, and simply haven't heard of the others. Any impressions? |

YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
As for the bundle, I gave them 10 dollars, a simple amount above the average that doesn't really hurt my economy. Haven't started testing the games yet though.

Funny thing was that before Notch's sizable donation, one of the Infinity Ward (Call of Duty) crew dropped $500 on the bundle and was hailed as a fine man. Talk about getting upstaged.

Originally posted by my email Dear Humble Indie Bundle customer, I would just like to personally thank you for your support in making the Humble Indie Bundle #2 even more successful than the first one. As thanks, I have added the Humble Indie Bundle #1 into your bundle. If you go to your personal download page, you will find the following games waiting for you:
- World of Goo (now a top seller on the iPad)
- Aquaria
- Gish
- Lugaru HD
- Penumbra Overture
- Samorost 2
Happy holidays! They're (mostly) redeemable on Steam too, if you would like to link them to your account.
If this kind of thing makes you happy, please feel free to add a little more to your Humble Bundle purchase (you can help bring up the average on your download page) and keep spreading the word!
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Rosen

| I got this right before I left for home for $5, so I have not had much time to play them, but form what i have seen, they are all extraordinarily beautiful games, and fun games to play, to boot. I highly recommend it. |
