I don't think I'll be able to be very active these holidays, I spent half the year away from home, my parents will be pretty pissed if I go back and lock myself in my room using the computer  |

My family wouldn't notice unless it was Christmas Eve.
No one gives a fuck about New Year's in my family and it's kinda depressing.

One year I went with my family to downtown Boston on New Years' Eve to see the ice sculptures, but we left before the new year itself.
As far as I know, I still have no plans this year, so I'll probably be here... certainly over the break in general.

Eh, I don't like beer, it tastes awful, and it's just empty calories.

hopefully not, but chances are, I will be.
It should be everyone's choice whether to drink or not, as long as you aren't doing something unsafe like drinking and driving.
I have to work extra on New Year's Eve. 
We don't close...at all.
