For some reason I've never really liked using my real name on websites... I used to have my first name in my profile at one point on one site and then removed it when people started using it, because it felt weird... I'd rather hide behind a pseudonym I guess. (It's not like I dislike my name or anything...)

I've kept Metal_Man88 roughly since the year 2000, and have resisted attempts by others to change it. Even when there was that anonymous experiment on Board 2, I was seen to be one of the few who continued on like nothing had changed, and when the nicknames were flipped back, there I was, continuing to be sane and civil despite the allure of being able to 'get away with it' the anonymity made some people think they had.

Around the time I had the imajin1jp AIM name, I had created it to talk to people online, but ended up passing it around IRL people, wondering if it would lead to people calling me Imajin... but it didn't.

I can't read the IPA, so I have no idea either.
