After having 4 days of from work to play this, I can I fully enjoy this expansion

I anxiously waited for 12:01 AM PST on Tuesday morning. I had 25 quests ready to turn in and get to leveling. I, along with about 50 other people, were waiting by the quest givers at the Sons of Hodir outpost ready to turn the quests in. 12:00 AM rolls around and we receive a message: Cataclysm content is now active, please restart your game client for access. I immediately ALT + F4 and log out. I come right back in and turn in a quest... no experience? WTF? Other people are having issues. So I figured it maybe have been from quitting out and not logging out. So I log out and try to get back in... then comes to login screen boss! Took another 20 minutes of trying to log in to finally get back. And still no experience! So we head out to Hyjal to try the new stuff and low and behold, exp is working again! So we go back to Northrend, turn in our 24 other quests and get 500k from them! It was definitely a good idea.

After about 4 more hours of questing that night, my wife and I turned in. We wake up at 10AM to see a fair few 83s and 1 or 2 84s. It wasn't for another 2 hours that we saw the realm first 85. 12 hours! That was crazy.

Over the next 5 days I leveled my paladin to 85 by saturday evening. My laptop malfunctioned on thursday evening so I ended up having to share time with my wife on her PC and that slowed our leveling Overall, I really enjoy the new expansion. My one beef is how bloated health and mana pools have become yet they still feel so small. I play a Holy Paladin and in just 5 casts I can be nearly out of mana if I don't do things the right way. I know this is how Blizzard wanted it but whats the point of having 70,000 mana if everything costs 6-7000 to cast? I think mana cost should be reduced by 10-15%... but thats just me. I know by the end of this first tier that mana won't be as much of an issue once the average mana pool is over 100k.

The new dungeons are incredibly fun and challenging. The first 2 are fairly simple and easy, but the last few are where the action begins. Even the best of tanks can't take it like they used to in Wrath. Crowd control is a must and the dungeon finder does a good job of mixing in at least 1 solid CC class (mage, rogue, hunter, shaman). Other classes are viable (Ret Paladin, Lock, shadow priest, boomkin) but they aren't quite as good.

The leveling curve was pretty good. I did quite a few dungeons trying to get better gear and ended up getting to 85 before even going to Twilight Highlands. But thats fine with me, I can go back and do those for gold whenever I need to. Now its time to get geared up through Heroics for our first guild raids next week. Should be another fun week. Heroics are about 10x harder than they were in Wrath. 2 CCs is a must and managing your mana pool is much more important. So far I only ran 1 random Heroic and we only killed the first boss before I had to go. The trash is hard and the bosses even harder. Which makes for more fun!
