You're in southern Florida, Anya. That area isn't really known for having that cold wet white stuff falling from the sky.

I've heard that my parents in Michigan are getting tons of snow. Maybe ask them for some?

Let's pretend Ikachan is a snowflake or something, then it'll get fun.

Snowflakes cause too many complaints, ergo they are rarely added. They were long ago, but, yeah.

I don't think we need to relive angry Xkeeper again.

Can we get pure-CSS3 and HTML5 snowflakes ?

Or just steal some random years-old Javascript somewhere.

I wonder, could Consumerist's comment system suck any more? Let's see...

  • Requires Javascript to display comments.

  • Comments sometimes take literally 10 minutes to load, while the rest of the page shows up immediately.

  • No way to edit or delete a comment.

  • Comments sometimes show up in the wrong place, or not at all, for no discernible reason.

  • If you've had a page open long enough (say you decided to go out for a few hours while the comments loaded), the submit button stops working.

  • Expand button is an absolute nightmare on mobiles. It's as if the actual hitbox for the button is only a few square pixels. It's surrounded by links to other pages, so if you miss you're likely to have to reload the page. Finally, it likes to lag just long enough that you assume you missed the spot again and hit it more times, so then it closes again. Frustrating enough to just not bother reading the site on my phone at all.

  • The reply and submit buttons are actually invisible links in containers with background images. (Probably explains the above issue too.) So if you have images disabled, there isn't even any alt text; the buttons are completely invisible.

Most of these issues have been pointed out numerous times by several people, with no response. Not even to say they're taking our concerns seriously. Such hypocrites they can be...

Oh hey, Rena, you made it snow on your layout. I think I kinda like it that way.

Whoever that chick is though, she's gotta be cold.

I hated having to study for midterms and finals. I was so bad at it. Better at writing essays.

Well, I could literally get a zero on three of my finals and still pass those classes with an A average ... but I'm too much of an overachiever to do that.

That sounds like an opportunity to have some fun with the exam to me. "Find x" "There it is!"

I wasn't. I really didn't care for school save for photo, drama and history class.

In 8th grade, it was english. This was because the teacher allowed me to write for the entire year and get my grade that way.

I managed to skip half a year's worth of class at one point thanks to having all the work done ahead of time.

Of course, it was an intro to computers class... as in HOW TO USE WINDOWS. XD
