Most any kind of pasta or noodle-based food item.
Also, sushi.

Yea, they were pretty big. My mom enjoyed eating them so at least they didn't go to waste.

We also had a mango tree, which I loved to climb and eat from. My dad, however, is allergic to mangoes and said tree.

That's awesome! If avocados grew in Maine, you can bet that I'd be hunting for them high and low. Unfortunately, they're $1.49 each at the grocery store to pick. At least I get four servings out of them though, whatever I do with them.

Mangos, I've never tried. I really should pick them up sometime and give 'em a shot.

Your mention of avocados growing in Maine reminds me of my father's ridiculous attempt to grow a banana tree in Massachusetts... he takes it inside and outside every winter, I wonder if that would work for an avocado tree? (But of course, he hasn't actually gotten any bananas off the foolish thing )

My mom had an old palm tree, but lived in climates that involve really long, harsh winters. She'd bring it in for the winter, but it eventually died.

Ha ha ha! I would've loved to see that attempt. Heck, you're close enough to me, maybe someday!

My grandfather has a very large garden here. Oh man, the amount of fresh food that comes out of that in the summer and fall is incredible. :9

Lately, I've been craving cheese stuffed crust pizzas with extra cheese.

Even when they fuck up the order I'm satisfied.

A delicious, medium-rare steak. The juicier and more tender, the better.
