Probably a short somewhere. Sounds like the GE speakers that my boss has on one of his computers in the office; every so often when it gets left for a while it starts making a really weird fart sound that blends in with the sound of whatever's on the comp.

We'd be listening to Bob and Tom in the mornings and all of the sudden Tom's farting while talking...oh wait...SHORT!

I'm going to mention that my dog has a nasty habit of sleeping against my bedroom door, and farting into my room thru that small, very small space at the bottom of the door.
