I'm off on Friday and Saturdays....and that's New Year's Eve & Day....ha, yea right, bet I'll still be working.

But I don't won't say anything...even if it means working on my birthday, I rather not work on those two days.

Wow, that must be bad, working on New Year's Eve.

It is illegal here for *everyone*. The entire country just stops at 0:00.

I remember struggling with German stores almost always being closed on Sunday and all kinds of holidays I wasn't familiar with. I'd get caught without enough food and such and have to get it at the pricier train station.

My entire town just about shuts down by about 9:00 at night. Then again, I live in a small town, so no surprises on that end. Still, I wish there was something open at night more than just McDonald's and a couple of convenience stores (that close at 11).

5049		I used to love to go to Kmart at around 2am when I was bored with nothing to do

Around here, it's mostly supermarkets and Walmart that are open 24 hours... AFAIK, there's no Kmart stores around here that are still 24 hours

I guess not today either, though...

When I was younger, I wasn't allowed to use the computer on Sundays until night-time, so it always seemed like there had been a huge amount of activity since I had last logged on... but now that that restriction is gone, I realize that there really isn't that much.
