This is why I need something in my hands, be it a hand held system or my blackberry. Even having my headphones on helps.

I prefer Chrome and Opera... not so much Firefox anymore, and haven't tried MSIE 9 yet

Chrome is pretty good, but I'd like a Firefox-style interface with the Chrome rendering engine.

Firefox doesn't have as many advantages as it used to, but I can't be motivated to change... I don't like the Chrome interface (or Firefox 4's imitation of it, for that matter- more settings to change immediately upon upgrading), and I have too many extensions... I mean, I'm sure I could find equivalents for the ones I actually use, but it seems like a hassle...

Firefox x64 works on catching up to everything else, and if you minimize the number of add-ons, it can actually chase a number of the other "faster" browsers.

The problem is this isn't open by default, so people get the wrongheaded assumption it is -always- slow.

Thanks. I'm now going to be saying Starfox instead of FireFox.

and Firefox is lacking in the opening race. Firefox takes ~1.5 minutes to open on my laptop. Chrome takes ~10 seconds.

Star Fox 64 as a browser? I'd use it.

Which version? How many add-ons?

If you rendered it about as minimal as Chrome is normally, it'd probably load up much faster.

All this talk about Chrome makes me want to give it a try.

But I cannot remember if I've already tried it or not.

It's fairly distinctive-looking compared to most other browsers... blue tabs and everything. So it seems like if you can't remember using it, you probably haven't?

I plan on giving Chrome a try sometime whenever I get sick of using Firefox. I usually tend to just stay with something I know well until is pisses me off, then go onto something new.

Chrome's OK. I prefer Firefox but it's a good second choice browser.

Loads quickly though.

I used Starfox Firefox before I started using Chrome. One day Firefox just stop displaying pages correctly and that forced me to try a new browser. I tried Chrome and stuck with it.

Still Firefox for me, but Chromium on my netbook.

I guess I use Opera for a few things too, and Elinks when I'm on my DS (but duh, text browsers)... but those aren't main browsers at all.

Ah. Probably bad/corrupted plugins. A proper reinstall would fix it.

I know I've tried Opera and I just didn't like it. Not really sure of the reason, but it just didn't suit me.

I didn't like Chrome for some reason. I think because of how it shoves your browsing history in your face, something that would have been bad when I took my laptop to school. There's probably an option to disable that.

Yea, that doesn't seem like a feature that I would like. Sorry Chrome, I might not try you out after all.

I use a Speed Dial that replaces that page, but it still shows what tabs were recently closed.
