Millions. I use tabs as a replacement for bookmarks.  Currently, I have 15 tabs open, but that can easily rise to 100 or more if I'm researching something.____________________ |

| I have a plug-in installed on Firefox that prevents more than 5 tabs being open at once. A certain person in the house kept opening up so many tabs that I would come home from work and find the entire computer frozen. |

On average, it's about 3 tabs: GMail, the "forum tab" - Z64, Jul, Sonic Retro, RHDN, etc., one of them is always open -, and another one for Google, Wikipedia, whatever else, etc. For one specific thing, I open up 5/6 tabs - that is three/four anime blogs (Random Curiosity, Kurogane's, Blogsuki and rarely Epic Win (since they're pretty much dead, sadly) and two fansub group sites (FFFpeeps, Mazui). For some reason, I don't really use RSS or AnimeSuki anymore. ____________________ cu xdaniel |

Usually it hangs around 150. When it goes over 200, I usually just give up trying to fix it, kill the entire session, and start over. I'm /just/ two days from the last cleanup, so I'm at 61 tabs in one window and 17 in the other. ____________________ |

I'd say usually around 20-50. Most of the time it turns out to be multiple Jul threads, images, Danbooru, and other things. Sometimes, it gets to a point where almost all of my tabs in Chrome are just little triangles with the occasional favicon.
Sometimes, like now, I only have maybe 10-20 open. ____________________ why not? |
