Weirdest thing- now that you mention the KFC wedge fries, I definitely can remember having them, but I can't remember any particular occasion of going to a KFC or having KFC take-out...

Chik-Fil-A has waffle fries that are pretty great. Of course, my new favorite is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich because fuck yes spicy chicken sandwich. Delicious.

I think my favorite big-name fast food fries are either from McDonalds (the only good non-breakfast thing they have), or Chick-Fil-A.

I also really like the fries they have at Five Guys Burgers (if you live on the east coast, you probably know what I'm talking about.) You can also get their fries "cajun style" (which apparently means "put chicken-flavored ramen noodle seasoning on", but it tastes great.)

I used to be big on the curly fries at Arby's but I don't really go for their food anymore.

Now that it actually crossed my mind, I think we do have the new fries here, though I'd need to know what they both looked like first. Pretty sure there were potato skins on the fries I've been getting here, though...

OMG waffle fries. *drools* See, we can only get those here at a grocery store (no restaurants sell them to my knowledge) but they're very good. More isn't always better for you, but more fry for your buck is.

Someone tell me if these are coming to Canada. Maybe I'll bother to make the LONG trip to Wendy's one day.

McDonald's fries were were great back when they used to put sugar in the frying oil. Since they stopped doing that, they went to "eh, ok", but now we prefer Wendy's fries.

I still haven't gotten the chance to try the new Wendy's fries. I may possibly stop by Wendy's on the way home from my classes tomorrow to see if we have them yet.

Well, we have the new fries now, and honestly, there's no real difference, aside from looks. Even then, there isn't a lot of skin on the potatos, just a little bit here and there.

They taste pretty much the same, in other words.

I think I'm going to go at their frosties before I go after their fries though. Unless for some reason the frosty has more calories and fat in it than a thing of fries. In which case...I'll probably just take the sweets anyway because I have a very, very big sweet tooth.

Of course, too much sugar makes me cringe, so that might have something to do with it...

It might surprise you as to what is really caloric and what isn't. I know I was when I started looking at the articles on Eat This, Not That's website!

It's also a really, really handy guide for getting an idea of what's good to eat when going out to restaurants. I'm surprised I haven't picked up the actual book yet.

Well, you also have to figure what they come from - at least fries are made from potatoes, where a frosty is probably mostly sugar...
