Don't know anything about game rarity myself, so just guessing I suppose.

Dragon Warrior I/II/III/IV (NES)
Kiwi Kraze (NES)
Road Runner's Death Valley Rally (SNES)
LEGO Racers (N64)
Roll Away (PS1)
Riven (Myst II) (PS1)
Discworld I/II (PS1)
Driver (PS1) (Unopened)

Probably the rarest thing there is the second Discworld game? Maybe Riven.

In Europe, SMAS was advertised as having SMB1, 2, 3 and the Lost Levels aka SMB2j. So no SMW in it. Really never saw that cartridge here, what is the opposite to the posts written above.
So it might be a difference between regions, that some countries got the version with Super Mario World and some not?

I have the version of SMAS without Super Mario World, myself.

Only SNES game I have the box and manual to, too.

In the US region, Super Mario All-Stars+Super Mario World had the highest production print, the PAL region had a small run, and Japan had no copies printed, strangely.

What are the production prints for Super Mario All-Stars without Super Mario World, and for Super Mario All-Stars with Super Mario World?

Let's get this settled here. I'm curious now.

Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World: Estimated 5 million for the US, 3 million for PAL.
Super Mario All-Stars with Debug Menu (separate early prints) 1.2 Million for NTSC, 5000,000 (unsure) for PAL and unknown for Japan.

... Little Samson, I think?

The rest I can think of is popular enough apparently...

If pirate games count though, that 110 in 1 NES cart had some rare FC games... I've seen it showing up often though.

Aha, well that solves the Mario All Stars question! The one with Mario World is a little more common than I thought though.

As far as Little Samson, good job! That's a pretty rare one.

Well, don't think I have anything that's truly rare but I guess there's some more or less uncommon stuff I've got:

- Zelda: Wind Waker, limited edition with OoT/MQ bonus disk
- Zelda: Twilight Princess, GameCube version
- Sin and Punishment (N64)
- Trigger Heart Exelica Enhanced, Uchuu no Stellvia (PS2)
- SwanCrystal with 3 games (Digimon D-1 Tamers, Digimon Card Game, Crush Gear Turbo)

And while not a game in itself:
- Tristar 64, FC/NES-and-SFC/SNES-to-N64 adapter; Japanese version and boxed

...and maybe one or two more things.

I had the SMAS (no SMW) version... that came with my SNES back in 1994 =D

Edit: Wasn't there also a bundle with Yoshi's Island late in the system's life, and also one with Link to the Past? I know of the ones with SMW and SMAS...

Star Fox (SNES) prototype. My neighbor knows a guy in Michigan who used to work for Nintendo of America. From 1989-1995 I believe, though I could be wrong.

Picture is not mine, nor is it of the game I own, but it does have this label on the top of the cartridge.

Are there any differences between the prototype and the final?

Probably Panzer Dragoon Saga. Not sure if Crawl has something more rare in his half of the collection, though...

Yup. Boxed copies were PAL exclusive, no Japan release at all. I found a box pic.

I really wouldn't know because I was never too big into Star Fox so I wouldn't know minor differences. It feels the same though, except with lots more slowdown, and the training mode crashes. I don't know if that's just because it's unfinished, or my cart is fucked beyond belief. So I don't play it much out of caution.

Hmm, don't remember a lot about it. It was a sidescroller, and in the first level you dropped down into a cave with some waterfalls here and there.

Gonna take a crack at this one... Gimmick?

There was definitely a DKC bundle, I got that one in '96.

Now that you say that, yeah, I'd have to agree with you.

Holy hell, that game is hard as all fuck. I wish they'd released it over here regardless.

I don't really have rare games so much as rare peripherals.

Let's see... a pirate 256-in-1 (which is really like 14 different games with various hacks applied) Famicom cartridge with NES adaptor.

A Mega Memory Card and a Codebreaker for Game Boy. As far as I know neither ROM has been dumped. I'd like to dump them someday...

N64 Transfer Pak (OK, probably not that rare) and microphone (I think only one game used this, and it was pretty lame).

Zelda Collector's Edition for Gamecube.

CD64 "backup" device with transparent case. It seems to have some sort of power supply problem but works if used with an external supply. I have the bare mainboard connected to an upside-down N64. Want to find an old PC case to put it in and make a dev system out of it.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure that we discovered that it had nothing to do with the ROM revision at some point (it was just a by-chance quirk).
